Located in Silverado Canyon, California, the Maple Springs Visitor Center serves a major Orange County gateway into the Trabuco Ranger District of the Cleveland National Forest. The Visitor Center provides Forest information and public programs for residents of Orange County and the Southern California region. The Visitor Center is staffed solely by volunteers of the U.S. Forest and the Santa Ana Mountains Natural History Association.
Subject to volunteer staff availability, the Visitor Center is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00AM to 4:00PM.
Unfortunately, the Visitor Center does not have Forest Service Adventure or Day Use Passes available for purchase. Please go to the Cleveland National Forest Passes & Permits to purchase annual parking permits online or check this list of local venues and stores that sell the passes.
We are currently recruiting new volunteers to staff the Maple Springs Visitor Center. Volunteers give out Forest information to visitors, develop displays & exhibits, and provide other educational programs for the public. If interested, please go to the "Sign Up To Volunteer" page. The Visitor Center is open during the weekends for all to enjoy.
